Golden Gate Wine is a leading importer and distributor of premium American wines in Hong Kong and surrounding regions, with a portfolio that encompasses a wide range of fine quality selections from small and medium-sized producers, primarily from California, Oregon, and Washington.

GGW was founded by Toby and Eileen Marion, who previously spent over 30 years working for multinational companies in Asia. The Marions had long been interested in wine and had even experimented with home winemaking. However, they ultimately decided to turn their hobby into their profession when they found that, while the Hong Kong food and wine environment was sophisticated and exciting, the availability and quality of American wines, particularly those from California, was low. Thus, they launched Golden Gate with a commitment to raise awareness and appreciation of the quality and care that defines West Coast winemaking traditions.

Today, as wine consumption in Hong Kong and China continues its steady growth, the Marions are proud to be at the forefront of raising the appreciation for fine wine as a delicious accompaniment to food, and to Asian food in particular.
